Hi, my name is Stella Ahyeon and I am the founder of Stella Lumina.
As a woman minority founder in the creative space, I have learned to observe beyond the surface and appreciate the beauty of authenticity.
I help founders, leaders, and creatives step into their highest confidence through cinematic editorial photography that translates their story into timeless art. I felt unseen for years until I picked up a camera and used it to help draw out confidence to the community around me.
I believe in self-help and creativity as a powerful voice to achieve any dream.
The mission of the founder and the brand must be aligned from the inside out. Being your true self will set you apart from the mass. The audience is drawn towards people and their imperfection, articulated only to strengthen trust and core values. Authenticity cannot be staged.
My work is cinematic in spirit but grounded in your truth.
My Korean name, Ahyeon (아리따울 아, 전할 연), means “to spread beauty” in Korean. This is my life long mission as a minority founder who was once lost.
I chose my American name, Stella, for the bold energy it carries. It's an alter ego that helped me break out of my shell and take a leap to build my dream.
The growth of my own personal brand is a journey and testament to my life-long mission to create and elevate value of the individual story of resilience.
Stella Lumina is more than photography; it's a movement. A home for those who are underestimated, overlooked, or simply ready to step into the spotlight with clarity and heart.
