Hi, I am Stella Ahyeon, founder of Stella Lumina.

My Korean name, Ahyeon (아리따울 아, 전할 연), means “to spread beauty” in Korean. As a photographer with a marketing and journalism background, I help develop quality visuals and develop your story.
I've always been an observer as far as I can remember. The camera allows me to keep visual records of my perspective.
I picked up a camera in 2017 during my gap year in college and never stopped taking photos since then. It gave me a reason to break out of my comfort zone and approach people. Many things have changed since, but my mission to elevate the people and their story through my love for visuals stays the same.
I believe in the power of visual imagery. Show, don't (just) tell.
I believe in the importance of individuality and believe that everyone has a fun story to pass on to humankind.

Stella Lumina is more than photography; it's an empowerment journey with an emphasis on achieving dreams and diversity of the human life. The uniqueness of every individual inspired me to create Career Compass, which is a digital magazine that combines artistry with storytelling.
Besides photography, I love modern art, film, interior, well-being and the water. Nature never needs filters or lighting. It's all there.
From Seoul to Orlando to San Francisco and now in Austin.
My journey as a creative continues, always with a camera in one hand and coffee in the other.
"You can build the life you want, frame by frame."
